Gamecore Pipes PC Games to your TV
The Gamecore system transmits your PC games to an HDTV.
IGUGU offers a rather neat gadget that allows PC gamers to stream their favorite games onto a TV without the need to install additional hardware. Called the Gamecore, this system comes in two flavors--mid-range and long-range--and provides not only "crystal-clear" HD quality video, but an Xbox-like controller with a built-in QWERTY keyboard.
The mid-range version works by plugging a 50-foot cable into the back of the PC, connecting the VGA and audio output on the PC end, and connecting the G-Cable Type A head to the LCD or Plasma screen. A wireless receiver connects to the USB port on the PC, and communicates to the unique controller. In addition to the built-in keyboard, the controller also offers motion sensing and a trackball mouse.
The long-range version requires a few more gadgets, mainly a standalone transmitter that connects to the PC and a standalone receiver that connects to the HDTV. Although the long-range version offers up to 200 feet, there's a G-Cable Type B cable that must connect between the transmitter and receiver devices. This version also uses the same wireless controller as the mid-range version
Both the mid-range and long-rage systems will allow consumers to control the PC from the couch, making it an ideal setup for movies and other media as well. The Gamecore is compatible with both the PC and Mac, and will also work on laptops.

So, hold on. Let me get this straight. They both need a cable between PC and TV? Erm...
I'm struggling to see what this does. My 42inch tv has a DVI input, and my computer has a DVI output...? Or even HDMI if i was willing to upgrade my card. So basically the only difference is a controller...That i could get for my pc anyway?
basically this is just a 3-in-1 wireless controller and a KVM
the only way this will sell is if it is cheaper than buying a wireless kbrd, mouse & controller seperately
if you have your PC and TV in the same room, you can already just buy a wireless control pad and hook your PC directly to your TV, if you don't, this device still means trailing a long cable through your house
