UK Won't Be Getting Tegra 2 Galaxy S2
The UK version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 will ship with Samsung’s own dual-core Exynos processor, as opposed to Nvidia’s Tegra 2.
Announced at Mobile World Congress, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is unique in that its ‘superphone’ status comes not from a dual-core Tegra 2 chipset, but the company’s own Exynos chip. However, shortly after the world learned about the Galaxy S2, Nvidia revealed that some of the devices wouldn’t be shipping with Exynos at all. Rather, Samsung would be shipping Tegra 2-equipped Galaxy S2s to selected territories until production of the Exynos reached satisfactory levels.
Up until now we’ve had no clue as to which model is going where, and while Sammy is still keeping quiet as far as public statements go, a product manager has spoken to one UK retailer in an attempt to clear things up. Retailer Clove Technology cites a Samsung UK Product Manager in reporting that the UK version of the phone will indeed ship with the 1.2GHz Exynos CPU. The Samsung staffer in question also confirmed an AMOLED Plus display and the quad-band (850/900/1900/2100) nature of the device.
The Galaxy S2 will launch on May 1 with a £500 price tag.

I'm confused, is the performance the same?
Sammys own CPU is Much better.
Sammys own CPU is Much better.
This is true, but how's the graphical performance?
Doesnt matter, android is CRAP for graphics... end of...
I think tegra 2 is only clocked at 1ghz. Though some games are 'optimized' for nvidia tegra so will run better
Hmm. Maybe I wont get this phone after all then.
The Tegra 2 is noticeably better at 3D and Flash:

N.B. Note that the Atrix has a higher screen resolution and lower Android version than the Galaxy S2.

The Tegra 2 in the Galaxy S2 has been bumped up to 1.2GHz, same as the Exynos.
Here is another benchmark of the Exynos:

Really need to see the Tegra 2 version properly benchmarked to be 100% sure which is best.
Ah ignore the #comment bit
