FREE: Mass Effect 2 DLC Free On Launch Day
Free stuff!!
Mass Effect 2 fans are in for a treat. According to a Twitter posting from BioWare's official Mass Effect 2 stream, there will be no charge for any new Mass Effect 2 content on launch day.

Mass Effect 2 is set to launch on January 26 and seeing as how that tweet was from January 15, it looks like we're going to find out more about the DLC this week. Exciting!
Now, is there anyone who doesn't love free stuff?

Why the hell are they releasing DLC on a first day? Thats retarded, I would release it in a few weeks, and keep pushing more DLC to gain publicity.
I will be getting this one, as well as the 1st one I think

can't wait hehe
prolly extra content they couldnt add anymore and maybe some fixes.
but extra content for free nonetheless, YAY!!!!
they will probably do it again later on, but this move will insure that most ppl make sure they have it paid up by "d"-date
If the DLC is ready by release date then it should be part of the main game. Extra content has been reduced from legitimately additional content made by the developers as a way of expanding the game for fans, to being a completely cynical way to remove stuff from the original game and then charge extra for it, to milk customers even more than they already are by overpriced games. Time for a bit of consumer backlash already.
*sigh* its time to get a new videocard, again.
