District 9 Pirated Over 1 Million Times in 24 Hours
District 9 is well on its way to becoming the most pirated movie of the year.
Remember when everyone flipped out over the pirated copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine that was leaked to the internet? Fox said the filed was downloaded over four million times while it was online. And it seems District 9 is going to give Wolverine a run for its money when it comes to being the most pirated movie of 2009.
TorrentFreak reports that a DVD-quality version of District 9 that was leaked over the past weekend means the movie is well on its way to becoming the most pirated movie of the year. In the last 24 hours, the file has already been downloaded one million times.

I was going to watch it in theatre, but it will come here in a mount (Croatia). so guess where i watched it.
i saw it in theater and all i can say is nice graphics but cheesy plot... and the blair witchy style documentary is kinda ironic when you see the not-so-realistic or should i say a theatrical characterizations.
it's a sucky shitty movie, the idea is good, the graphics is nice, but the acting and the camera work is as said, blair witchy and crappy, wouldn't buy it on dvd even for a buck

I went to see it in the theater all in all i thought it was an alright movie as for the camera work it was meant to be like that it was nice they used no name actors or at least actors i don't know about. if you go in expecting a decent movie you won't be disappointed and if you actually suspend believability in favor of the movie its a nice movie the movie i will not be buying on DVD or Blue-ray and not even going to down it's good for a rent or a one time watch every 4-5 years

The trailer seemed good.
Worth watching in the cinema as the graphics are amazing accompanied with the doc style filming helps make the film gritty and realistic makin you forget at times your watching CG 'prawns'. Dont go in expecting your normal alien invasion film.
