London pub announces Nintendo DS virtual snooker hall
A London pub has announced plans to introduce a Virtual Snooker Hall.
The landlord of The Metropolitan, Gordon McIntyre, said that the idea is inspired by the new Nintendo DS title ’World Snooker Championship Season 2007-08’.
Punters rent a DS along with the snooker title from the bar for a half-hour session of play time. Patrons can play against a friend or enjoy a nice relaxing solitary game of snooker against some of the best players in the industry.
The pub is currently closed for refurbishment but plans on introducing the DS snooker hall when they reopen this Thursday, 8 November.
McIntyre felt that the lack of snooker in London pubs was a shame and saw the DS title as an ideal way to bring snooker back to pubs.
