Everytime I see Intel line-up with prices, I get disgusted.
We really need some alternative from AMD.
Intel harvests the cpus and then releases new chips to harvest consumers.

I really want to see how well those i3's over clock. From what I can find they are the same core as the i5s, just slower and cheaper. They could be fun.

@Wifiwolf; it would be nice if Intel had some serious competition at the top end of the market. I hope AMD steal the performance crown back.

ANOTHER new socket from Intel?
That's just wrong, compounds my reasons for wishing to be able to switch to AMD who are far less inclined to rob their customers!

As i understand it the line up will look like this, So far. you never can tell with MS.
i7 4/6/8 cores hyper-threading and turbo on a LGA 1366.
i5 2/4 cores no hyper-threading but turbo enabled.
i3 2/4 coresno hyper-threading and no turbo.

Im not even going to pretend to know what you are on about ???
I was just posting what the latest info i knew of said. I thought i made that clear. No?
Its not my theory and i never even suggested for a minuite that it was even close to fact.
I have posted my best understanding of what to expect. If you know better please post something intelegable so we can all share in your knowledge.
Maybe something along the lines of. Im sorry but i think your mistaken i beleive it will be this, or, no its not that its this.

Just posting a lot of numbers and putting a snotty remark after the numbers that reads as up yours helps no one.
