German scientists invent spray on condoms

Scientists at the Condom Consultancy in Germany have finally invented a condom guaranteed to fit all men. [In other news, there is such a thing as the Condom Consultancy -Ed]

Confused ? So were we (and this news editor still is). The condom is made in a chamber that pumps out liquid latex over the man’s eh, little man, which is then dry and ready for action in 30 seconds.

While it seems like a good idea at first, one does start to wonder. . . For example, how do you melt the latex ? Is it a “you strip off and I’ll plug in the condom” type thing ? And isn’t melted latex really hot (and I don’t mean that kind of hot) ? Ouch. That being said, the German engineers seem to have overcome these minor issues to ensure that you’ll not be having unexpectedly safe sex due to heated latex issues.

Inventor, Jan Vinzenz Krause, said that while they still have some legal problems to sort out they feel confident that the product is a unique idea and will reach the market in the not too distant future.

Krause said that they have already developed a working prototype but reactions among test subjects ("What’s your job ? Scientists spray my wang all day long. It’s hard work, but it has it’s moments") have varied. While some were impressed with the idea of finally finding a condom that fits, others (like us) questioned the romance of it all. There is none, in case you’re wondering.

The price is also an issue. The "chamber" alone costs £17 but we figure with the latex refills costing between £5 and £7 each producing between 10 and 20 condoms (depending on size of course. Hey, smaller is cost effective) it’d probably work out cheaper than your normal run of the mill Durex after the initial investment.
