Sony Ericsson Ray Hitting UK in August
Carphone Warehouse has spilled the beans on when we can expect Sony Ericsson's just announce Xperia Ray in stores.
Sony Ericsson last week confirmed a Q3 release for the Xperia Ray and now, thanks to Carphone Warehouse, we have something a little more specific. The phone retailer today pushed its splash page for the Xperia Ray live and opened up a mailing list for those who want to register their interest.
Announced by Sony Ericsson on June 22, the Xperia Ray is aimed at those that consider style among their top priorities when purchasing a phone. It boasts a 3.3-inch display, a 1GHz CPU, Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine, an 8-megapixel camera, the ability to shoot video in 720p, Android 2.3, Bluetooth, support for MicroUSB, USB tethering, WiFi and up to 32GB of storage via microSD (4GB included).
Sadly, Carphon Warehouse could provide nothing more specific than August, and mentioned nothing about pricing, but we'll keep you posted on that. For now, check out this preview video from Three UK.
