McAfee: Cameron Diaz is Most Dangerous Celeb
Cameron Diaz has bumped last year's most dangerous celebrity, Jessica Biel, to number three.
Cameron Diaz might have posted a lethal lap time on Top Gear's 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' feature, but it seems this tall drink of water is lethal in other ways too; McAfee has just named her the number one most dangerous celebrity when it comes to malware bait.
We know by now that it's not uncommon for cybercriminals to target star-struck fans looking for pictures, videos and screensavers of their favourite athletes, film starts and musicians. But who's the biggest risk when looking to Google for celebs to oogle? McAfee has released its annual list of the most dangerous celebrities to search for if you're hoping to avoid malware, and top of the list is Cameron Diaz.
Diaz bumped last year's most dangerous celebrity, A-Team leading lady Jessica Biel, off of the top spot, as McAfee discovered that one in ten results for 'Cameron Diaz' leads web users to a risky website. Combine Cameron Diaz with one of McAfee's 'most dangerous search terms' such as "screen saver," and the chance of encountering malicious websites rises by 19 percent.
Also proving risky are Victoria Secret models, as the ladies account for three of the top ten, which is mostly comprised of famous women. The only men who feature on the list are Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
Check out the top ten below:
10. Anna Paquin
09. Heidi Klum/Penelope Cruz
08. Tom Cruise
07. Jennifer Love Hewitt
06. Adriana Lima
05. Brad Pitt
04. Gisele Bündchen
03. Jessica Biel
