New York (NY) - Rockstar said today that it is aware of serious problems in the Xbox 360 game Bully: Scholarship Edition and that it is working "to resolve these issues as quickly as possible."
Players have recently flocked to message boards and Rockstar customer support to complain about the game randomly freezing and losing save data, as well as rampant audio/video problems.
"We are very aware of the problems some people have been experiencing with the Xbox 360 version of Bully: Scholarship Edition and have been doing everything within out powers to resolve these issues as quickly as possible," said Rockstar in a statement. The publisher said it would be releasing an update over Xbox Live "within the next week."
Bully was released on the Playstation 2 in 2006 and received a spat of controversy from activists against video game violence, who pushed to block the title from getting on store shelves. The follow-up game Bully: Scholarship Edition was released on the Xbox 360 and Wii this month.
No problems have been reported with the Wii version of the game.
