BlackBerry Bold Touch Finally Gets Priced for UK
Research in Motion's BlackBerry Bold 9900, also known as the BlackBerry Bold Touch, has been priced.
News about the BlackBerry Bold Touch, officially dubbed the BlackBerry Bold 9900, has been trickling out ever so slowly following its official unveiling at BlackBerry World in May of this year. Not long after RIM launched the device, Vodafone, 3UK and O2UK all confirmed that they would carry the device when it launched. Earlier this month, 3UK confirmed that it would be getting the phone in one September 15. However, pricing was still to be confirmed.
Fortunately for us, uSwitch has managed to get its hands on pricing details for the device on two of the previously mentioned networks as well as Orange and T-Mobile. According to the site's blog, the 9900 will be available free from £30.64 per month on T-Mobile and from just over £35 per month on Orange, Vodafone and O2. 3UK's pricing still remains a mystery but we imagine it will be something similar.
The Bold 9900 is RIM’s thinnest phone yet. It boasts a high resolution, 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen; a 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU; 768MB of RAM; up to 32GB of storage via MicroSD (8GB as standard); a 5-megapixel camera with flash and HD video capture; microUSB; NFC; Bluetooth; 802.11a/b/g/n; and compass, accelerometer and proximity sensors. It also offers the physical keyboard avid BlackBerry users are so attached to.
