Bing Gains Some of Yahoo!'s Market Share
Bing is continuing to grow, nabbing search market share from Yahoo!
Bing has seen steady, month over month growth since it launched in May of this year. With the exception of the month of September, Bing has been doing quite well for Microsoft and in November, Bing rose once again. Unfortunately the search market share it managed to grab from competitors came from Microsoft's new partner, Yahoo!.
The LA Times cites ComScore numbers that say Bing captured 10.3 percent of search in last month, up from 9.9 percent the month before, with Yahoo!'s share decreasing by about the same margin. In November, Yahoo! saw its share drop from 18.0 percent to 17.5 percent.
As always, Google remains the leader with 65.6 percent. No surprises there.
