Computerised Pillow Saves Marriages
German Professor, Daryoush Bazargani, has designed a pillow that prevents snoring using a computer-regulated system.
Bazargani, Professor of Computer Science at the University of Rostock and the pillows inventor, was displaying a prototype of his pillow at a health conference in Germany on Wednesday.
The pillow is attached to a computer which sits on your bedside table. The book-sized computer analyses the noise of the sleeper’s snoring and then adjusts the pillow to minimise snoring while you sleep.
The computer adjusts air compartments in the pillow to facilitate nasal airflow and can also give neck massages while you sleep.
Bazargani claims that several U.S companies have expressed interest in the product. He also said that he originally designed the product for himself.
"I invented it because I snore," he said. "I tried all sorts of products, but nothing worked. I hope people who use it will sleep more peacefully."
