BBC3 gets a whole new look for 2008

BBC3 just barely missed the axe the last it came swinging. Better safe than sorry the station has spent thousands giving the channel a complete makeover.

The singing blobs we’ll be sorry to see the back of but BBC promise it’s all part of a bigger picture and it hopes to achieve "Britain’s most ambitious multi-platform network".

BBC3 aim to integrate user interaction into the channel by using the website and social networks to interact with viewers.

The revamp will see the more sensationalist shows the BBC has been airing toned down with more current affairs and chat shows going out onto the airwaves instead.
