BBC, Channel 4 and ITV launch VOD service
The BBC and Channel four together with ITV have announced a new Video On Demand service.
The three broadcasters currently have their own VOD services. BBC and ITV have both said they will continue to run their services independently of the new, joint venture. However, Channel 4’s 4oD will no longer be available once the new service launched.
The new service will launch sometime in 2008.
