Report: Asus to Ship T91 Next Week
Rumor has it Asus’ tablet netbook, the T91, will start shipping to the US this week.
We first got a good look at the T91 when it was on display at Asus’ booth at CeBit following a very brieft glimpse of the device at CES in January. Today Electronista reports claims from an EeeUser.com forum member who says the tablet-netbook will ship this week.
Like we reported back in March, the T91 is Atom-based (1.33 GHz) and features 1 GB of RAM as standard (upgradable to 2 GB), an 8.9-inch (1024 x 600) touch screen and a 180 degree rotating lid. It measures in at 225 x 164 x 25.2-28.4mm, and weighs less than 1 kg.
Unfortunately there’s still no information on pricing and with a device like this, a reasonable price point will be the make or break point. How much would you be willing to fork out for the device?
