Thieves Clean Out Apple Store in Half a Minute
This is what happens when you leave fully operational, untethered laptops out on display overnight.
ABC has security footage from the recently looted Apple store in Marlton, NJ. The 2 a.m. raid took place earlier this week and lasted all of 31 seconds. Now, half a minute isn't exactly a long time when you're trying to steal electronics from a store, especially one with CCTV cameras and a security guard that does regular rounds. However, it looks like 31 seconds is plenty of time if the electronics you plan on stealing are plugged into handy-dandy magsafe adapters and nothing else.
Hit the link below to watch the video that shows five guys chuck a brick through the glass door, rush in and collect 23 MacBook Pros, 14 iPhones, and 9 iPod Touches. The on-duty security guard rushes onto the empty crime scene moments after the suspects have left, though the reporter does say the thieves motioned to him that they had a gun, so we're not exactly sure he can be blamed for staying out of the whole thing.

I don't know what is worse, they were actually that easy to steal or someone actually thought they were worth stealing.
Mac Book Air . . . Hacked in 2 minutes
Apple Store . . . Taken down in 31 seconds
Look on Apple's face when they lost over $50,000 worth of product . . . Frickin awesome!
Shop security? Shit, there isn't an app for that.
brilliant... although disgusting... why would anyone steal this junk?
