Andy founded the company, which is best known for its enthusiast memory, in 1994 with Don Lieberman and John Beekley. Based in Fremont, Calif., Corsair today sells performance memory, including the Dominator series, as well as mainstream memory, flash memory sticks, power supply units and various cooling devices. I couldn’t survive without my … ability to laugh. Sometimes it’s the only way to get around frustrating situations.

The best advice I ever got was … keep smiling.

A person/people I admire … is anyone who spends their life helping others and asks for nothing in return.

If I could go anywhere, or do anything, I would … It would be cool to circle the earth in a space shuttle. And it would be cool to drive a formula 1 car.

A technology I have no use for … that’s a tricky one. I love technology and gadgets. I just bought a USB broadband card for example that allows me to connect my boat computer to the internet while at sea. Online social networking seems lame to me if I had to pick anything.

The best idea I had … was to start Corsair, of course.

Luxury is … good snow and cold beer.

I wish I had invented … water. And patented the recipe. Shame it occurs naturally.

My tombstone should read … Liked a good laugh and good company. A person/trend/technology to watch … are mobile computers, cell phones and PDAs turning into one device. We are almost there. I wonder what the average mobile display size will be in 5 years ? Or perhaps we won’t use conventional displays. Also when will the Internet be obsolete ? And of course, all devices needing massive amounts of Corsair high speed memory
