Android 3.2 Hitting UK Motorola Xooms in September
UK owners of the Motorola Xoom can expect to get Android 3.2 as soon as next month.
Launched in February in the United States, the Xoom was the first tablet to run Google's Honeycomb OS, which is optimised for tablets. It wasn't long before users were upgraded to 3.1, and, in July, 3.2. Sadly, having only got their hands on 3.1 earlier this month, UK users are still behind the times compared to their U.S. counterparts. However, they won't be behind for much longer.
TechRadar reports that UK Motorola Xooms will be getting the Android 3.2 update next month. Android 3.2 is a relatively small update, but it will offer various 'optimisations' including pixel-scaled zoom for applications designed for smaller displays, support for products based on Qualcomm chips, and the ability to sync media from an SD card.
