UK Readers Get Amazon Kindle Daily Deal
Amazon throws open Kindle Daily Deals to the UK.
Kindle users in the United Kingdom are now being offered the chance to pick up a 'daily deal' that offers a different title at a reduced price every single day. Kindle Daily Deals, already available for customers in the United States, was announced for UK Kindle users today.
"Today we're launching the Kindle Daily Deal where we unveil a Kindle book at a specially discounted price each day--for that day only," Amazon said via its UK Kindle blog today. "You'll save big from the previous day's price so to ensure you don't miss a deal, check back daily, bookmark www.amazon.co.uk/KindleDailyDeal or follow us on Twitter or Facebook."
The first title available through the Kindle Daily Deal program is Michael Ridpath's 'Where the Shadows Lie.' Customers can snag the title for £0.99 if they buy today, which represents a savings of 75 percent over yesterday's price.
