Yes! Dungeon Siege 3 Demo Coming Soon
Here in the States, the Dungeon Siege 3 demo will land on the Xbox 360 first, followed by a simultaneous release on the PlayStation Network (hopefully) and Steam.
Last Friday, Square Enix silently slipped the Dungeon Siege 3 demo launch date into its newsletter, revealing that the trial will arrive on the Xbox 360 console first (surprise!) on May 31, and then hit the PlayStation Network (PS3) and Valve's Steam service (Windows PC) on June 7. Xbox gamers will likely need the subscription-based Gold service in order to access the exclusive demo.
For fans over in Europe, the demo won't be available for the consoles until June 22, two weeks after PC gamers get their fill from Steam on June 7. The full version of Dungeon Siege 3 will officially arrive in your hands first on June 17 followed by the North American release on June 21. The game was originally slated for a May release, but saw a slight setback.
"Although the final polish phase has demanded a bit more time than originally planned, we want to assure fans and followers that the additional effort will allow us to deliver an action-RPG worthy of its rich heritage, "said Mike Fischer, president and CEO of Square Enix, Inc.
