Acer Launches Super-Slim Business Notebook
This week at Computex, Taipei, Acer is showing off an ultra-thin notebook for business users.
Pretty much all of the Acer-related Computex coverage so far has been about either the Ion platform in the upcoming AspireRevo or the company’s plans for an Android-based Aspire One in Q3. However, the company has another cool machine on show at Computex and this one is aimed at professionals.
Measuring in at less than 1-inch thick, and packing an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, you’re looking at a 13.3-inch display, up to 4 GB of RAM, Intel’s GMA 4500MHD with 64 MB of dedicated video memory (or the option to upgrade to ATI’s Radeon HD 4330 with 512 MB of dedicated video memory), multitouch trackpad, 8+ hour battery life, WiFi, 3 x USB 2.0, VGA, mic in (as well as a built in mic), headphone/speaker jack and Ethernet.
No sign of a price on the product page but according to Digitimes it’ll be available next month so a price can’t be far off.
