According to the Wall Street Journal, NEC Corp. will put chips by Advanced Micro Devices Inc. into its PCs aimed at the corporate market in France, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK. Tokyo-based NEC has reportedly announced that it will sell Athlon and Duron based PCs immediately. It is expected that the win will help convince the top four US PC makers to consider AMD microprocessors for corporate buyers.
