Memory Frequency of up to DDR2-880

To test the stability of our over clocked processor, we used the Vista-compatible version of Prime95, which stresses all of the cores simultaneously.
Overclocking the CPU results in a memory frequency of DDR2-880. According to Sisoft Sandra, the processor’s memory bandwidth reached 9700 MB/s. The high memory throughput gives the processor an additional performance boost.

When the Black Edition is overclocked, it gains an additional performance boost of 7.3%. This is still not enough to close the gap with the Intel’s Core 2 Duo E6850. However, it is sufficient to finally draw level with the Core 2 Duo E6750.
