Eyefinity from AMD allows three monitors to run on one 5000 series Radeon card. Eyefinity6 doubles that.
Eyefinity from AMD allows three monitors to run off of one Radeon 5000 series graphics card. Now, AMD has doubled the the numbers of monitors with Eyefinity6. Al you need for Eyefinity6 is one of the yet to be released 5000 series cards (the series is obviously available but Eyefinity6 isnt supported on existing cards yet), and of course the money to buy six compatible monitors.
In the above picture, Eyefinity is running on six Samsung ultra-thin bezel MD230 monitors. The total monitor setup goes for about $3100 (or $1900 for three).

It has disadvantages for media and gaming - not least the borders between the monitors and the fact its no longer a standard widescreen image....
If you ask me you need to set this up with six projectors to make a flawless super high resolution screen - only problem is about $8000 for a nice high resolution setup....
I think this is only useful if you use it for work not for gaming or cinema because for gaming and cinema I prefer the 42" LCD TV
yeah but a 42in lcd tv wont have the same resolution at that screen area
exactly mauller - thats why six projectors is the way forward
I would just get 52 inch LED tv. And get NVIDIA 3D glasses.
Instead of this I'll just buy a full hd projector. Sounds more reasonable!!! Forza Steaua!!!
6 SVGA DLP projectors would cost £1000 and give you a 6 metre wide screen (236 inches) of 4800x3600 resolution...
