845D/FSB533 P4-supporting motherboards appear in China
Motherboards pairing Intel's 845D chipsets and Northwood-core Pentium 4 processors have appeared on the market in China lately. With either overclocking technology or an additional clock generator chip, several new products are able to use the 400MHz FSB (front-side bus)-based 845D chipset to support the FSB 533MHz-enabled P4 processor.
