Atheros, Broadcom demo 802.11n compatibility
Wi-Fi chipmakers Atheros and Broadcom said that they have achieved interoperability with their next-generation 802.11n chipsets. During the last month, the two companies said, both the Atheros XSPAN and the Broadcom Intensi-fi 802.11n chipsets have been proven to be compatible in tests at speeds of greater than 100-Mbits/s, the threshold for 802.11n communication.
