8 million people watched Live Earth concerts online

Microsoft said that it has delivered more than 30 million streams of the eight Live Earth concerts last Sunday. During the live coverage, more than 8 million people watched over 15 million streams, according to the company. Peak simultaneous viewership was at 237,000 people, which is believed to have the made the event the most watched entertainment event to date.
The concerts will continue to be available on-demand at liveearth.msn.com for several weeks, according to MSN.
