66 Iridium satellites to burn
Motorola is completing plans to begin nudging the 66 Iridium satellites back toward earth where they will burn up in the atmosphere. When the bankrupt $7 billion project failed to sell the satellites for only $50 million, Motorola began making plans to destroy the telecommunications assets and it now appears they will be implemented.
