4x DL DVD burner for home use from Toshiba
Toshiba showed three new standalone DVD players/burners with harddrive, the RD-XS57/37 and the AK-G200.
New on the RD-XS models is the fact that teh devices can burn DL DVD’s at 4x speed. The 57 version integrates a 300 GByte harddrive. The 37 comes with a 160 GByte drive. The AK-G200 has a 250 GByte drive but cannot burn DL DVD’s.
These products will be available from mid-June onwards. We have not received any price information so far.
