After looking over the pictures that we had leftover from GDC, we noticed there were some great things that we didn't have a chance to write about, but thought that you might like to see. Here are some of the other cool things that we saw on the floor at GDC.

Nokia, in their first showing at GDC, showed off the new N-Gage combination cell phone and gaming device. While we didn't really think that it made good cell phone, it did in fact make a pretty good game machine. Nokia was busy recruiting developers to bring software to the N-Gage platform. Many developers are considering doing titles for devices of this type, but the subject is still up in the air, because no one is sure what kind of adoption rate these devices will achieve. No word from Nokia as to when we can expect to see the N-Gage in the US.

Palm Source was at GDC as well, talking to developers that wanted to develop for the Palm platform. They didn't seem to be attracting much attention to their booth, but soon after the next generation Palm OS is released, we think they'll make a bigger push to recruit developers to write all kinds of Multimedia applications for the Palm platform.
