The SD-C2612 has data transfer rates up to 10,820 kB/sec for DVD, and 3,600 kB/sec for CD, with random access times of 130ms for DVD-RAM, 95ms for DVD and 90ms for CD-ROM. The drives will begin shipping to mobile PC manufacturers in early April.
