In the end, would we choose the Altec Lansing VS2221 or the Logitech Z-4? The latter, in spite of a markedly higher price, did not succeed in making enough of a difference for us. On the aesthetic level, Altec Lansing has come up with a design that simple but is much more convincing, and affordable - this would be the product to go for.
