Overall Impression

Titan's butterfly cooler, Vanessa
The Titan cooler is marketed under the somewhat odd brand name of Vanessa. Behind the sweet moniker lurks a monster of a cooler with a 120 mm fan. A special lacquer coating gives the impression that you're looking at a metal fan; impressions deceive, however, because this fan is made of 100% plastic. A metal fan would have made this cooler, which already weighs in at 1 lb 13 oz (821 grams,) even heavier. As it is, its weight puts it outside every manufacturer's tolerance range.

First impressions deceive: the fan is 100% plastic
The design of the cooling fins is suggestive of a butterfly, and the molded imprint on the top blade gives this cooler quite an elegant look.
