The LG GSA-4160B showed the best results for DVD reading and transfer rate, with a speed slightly above specifications at the end of a disk (16.16x). For access time, the LG came close, but the Samsung won here again, with a random access time of only 90 ms! The differences are more evident with video extraction. Once again, the Samsung showed its high-speed reading capabilities. But what about writing?
